Kiko Milano Purchases

Beauty

I’ve been meaning to pop into Kiko in Romford as it didn’t open very long ago, and I keep walking past and have to be somewhere and don’t get a chance to go in. So, today I got the chance to have a look round and I can now say it’s my new favourite shop! I remember at an internship at Grazia magazine I did back in 2014, a lady gave me a Kiko nail varnish in this bright coral and I was in love with that, I’d never heard of Kiko before and then it started appearing everywhere.

At the moment, they have the most beautiful summer range with rose gold packaging and for £16 you can even purchase a clutch bag in the same material as your compact powder so you’re all matching.

The one thing I was blown away by is the pigmentation of their eye shadows. Individual ones ranging from about £2.80-£8.50, they’re all as good with such a strong colour. I’ve been in desperate need of a rose gold shimmer and a white for the inner corners and I managed to pick up both.

Recently, I’ve also been hunting for a pure gold sparkly lipgloss and I managed to get one of those too!

The products are as follows (top-bottom):

Eyeshadow in 169, Super Gloss in 113, Water Eyeshadow in 200.

The staff were so helpful and made me aware that they offer 20% off for makeup artists.

Zoeva Buffer Brush and a NYX Tan Shimmer

Beauty, Shopping

Hey guys,

Yesterday I did a spot of shopping in Selfridges and I discovered Zoeva makeup brushes which I have seen around but never actually tried. They have the prettiest brush sets which are around £65 and they come with a matching bag in colours like blush pink and rose gold, or you can buy them individually.

My friend was looking for a new foundation brush and when we saw and felt how soft these ones were, I just couldn’t resist! We both ended up buying 104 Buffer Foundation Brush which cost £15 and I tried it this morning and I can definitely say I’ve never used a better foundation brush. It made the foundation apply so softly and what I find a lot usually is that the brush takes a lot of the foundation and doesn’t spread it very well but this seemed to leave it all on my face!

I then found the Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator by NYX for £7 which I’ve had my eye on for a while. I got the tan colour rather than the white because I already have a powder white illuminator and I also used this today and it looked like I had dusted my tan MAC pigment over my cheek bones and they were glowing!

Festivity and Shopping

Lifestyle, Shopping

Hi all!

Sorry I’ve been slacking with my posts. My dissertation is finally written!!

On Wednesday, Devon and I payed a visit to Somerset House’s ice skating rink and apart from him dragging me around because I was too scared to move and falling on my bum, it was fun!

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. The scenery of Somerset House was just beautiful.

We then went a bit over board with our Christmas shopping and ended up with 18 shopping bags!

I had to pop into Fortnum and Mason and stocked up on my favourite Chai tea and cranberry biscuits before a sneaky shop in Tiffany’s at dinner time.. Dinner at Tiffany’s maybe?

Greek date night

Food, Lifestyle

Yesterday evening my boyfriend and I went to try The Real Greek at Westfield, Stratford London for the first time and I was very impressed.

Because our trip to Rhodes is fast approaching, we used the rare sunny day to get in the Greek spirit. We had Tzatziki with their AMAZING flatbreads, Greek Olives, calamari and chicken skewers.

We did a bit of shopping after which I’m sure I will be posting about my purchases in the near future!

Sunny Sunday

Fashion

How nice is the weather in the UK at the moment?!

Just a casual cool outfit today with my fave spring waterfall coat I got from Zara in Marbella last year.

Guess TShirt, top shop Leigh jeans, Chanel and some new sandals.

I’m obsessed with pastel at the moment so I’m so excited to be wearing this jacket again.

Yesterday I attended Pure London’s seasonal trade fair. I go to this show every season as I find it’s very helpful with their 45 minute WGSN trend forecast talk and great to get all the upcoming trends written down and ready.

I’m so excited for AW 15/16 because not much has changed when it comes to neutrals, grey tones and charcoal but silhouette will be seen a lot more feminine which is great for me personally because I’m not much of a fan of the masculine look – it does not suit me!

What I’m also looking forward to is the 3 key colours: Cranberry, Orange and Teal which I absolutely adore anyway!! (See photos above).
